Most cosmetic facial treatments work topically on the surface of the skin, which are beneficial, however what is visible on the surface is directly related to something going on underneath the skin. The most effective way to improve imperfections on the skin’s surface is to correct the underlying issue(s), occurring at the cellular level. DMK’s botanical based, pharmaceutical grade formulations work with the internal structures and functions of the skin to restore homeostasis.

SCG Spa offers DMK Enzyme Therapy Treatments, Levels 1-3. All three levels consist of cleansing, masking, removing the mask and finishing products. DMK’s unique firm setting enzyme mask works with the circulatory system, bringing freshly oxygenated, nutrient-rich blood to the skin cells. This initiates lymphatic drainage and reverse osmosis, or backflushing, in and around the cells and capillaries. After application, the mask sets for 45 minutes and firms up to the point where many clients feel the pulsing of their blood under the skin in the treatment area. The compression of the mask tricks the body into thinking it needs to build up and firm, and stimulates collagen production. Upon removal of the mask, the capillaries are briefly visible through the skin, creating what is known as DMK’s “plasmatic effect.”

DMK Level 1 focuses on lymphatic drainage and reoxygenation using the Enzyme 1 mask. The mask is applied to the face, neck, and decolletage. After removal, finishing products are chosen based on the individual skin needs.

DMK Level 2 builds on Level 1 with increased exfoliation and additional products. The service provider may choose to use the Enzyme 3 mask over top of the Enzyme 1 mask to intensify its effects.

DMK Level 3 focuses on muscle banding, in addition to the components included in Levels 1 and 2. Enzyme 2 is applied over top of Enzyme 1 in specific patterns to stimulate and guide muscle contractions and create a more toned, lifted appearance. The Enzyme 3 mask is then floated over both masks to further boost circulation. As with repeated contractions of other muscles in the body (think lifting weights), muscle memory is created. With repeated treatments, muscles respond faster due to being conditioned by previous treatments, yielding better results.

Due to the tightness of the mask, anyone with claustrophobia is not an ideal candidate for these treatments. You will see and feel a difference in your skin after one treatment, however consistent treatments are the only way to truly correct any skin conditions or concerns.
