After providing painless laser hair removal for years with the Motus AX, we wanted more. What else could we offer our clients to improve their skin concerns while still keeping treatments comfortable and feasible for all skin types? We did not want to sacrifice pain-free hair removal, but we wanted to meet the growing demand for skin correcting treatments. The Motus Pro checked all of the boxes, so we traded in the AX and in June 2025, SCG became the first owner of the Motus Pro in the state of PA (and one of the first in the country).

The Motus Pro utilizes the proprietary Moveo technology for painless treatment of unwanted hair, pigmented lesions, vascular lesions, and collagen stimulation. With this in-motion treatment, just enough energy is delivered to the desired target without damaging the surrounding tissue. No hot rubber band snap sensation here! A cooled sapphire tip is always flush on the skin, allowing nearly 100% energy absorption; many traditional lasers have a space between the laser & target, resulting in much of the energy never making it to the skin. Cool ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area to help with a smooth glide across the skin. Some clients report feeling minimal warmth while most say they do not feel anything beyond something cold running over their skin.

Painless hair removal is still achievable with Moveo HR. Since the laser targets melanin within the hair, this is only suitable for those with dark hair.

Traditional laser treatments are also possible with the Motus Pro, making it a truly versatile device that can offer highly customized treatments for a variety of skin concerns. Isolated areas of unwanted hair, pigmented lesions, and vascular lesions can be treated with a range of spot sizes to deliver the exact amount of laser energy to the desired area for an effective treatment.

All laser treatments are a process, and everyone’s expectations and goals vary. Most likely, multiple treatments will be needed to achieve the desired reduction. Pigmented and vascular lesions can clear up within 3-5 treatments, whereas hair removal will likely require at least 6, depending on the area and if it has been treated before.
