I am a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 25 years of experience in high-acuity, fast-paced clinical environments. For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of caring for patients in Cumberland and Franklin counties, developing a strong foundation in patient safety, sound medical decision-making, and procedural precision. I have also held various health care administration roles, gaining valuable experience in healthcare leadership, operations, and team development.

I am excited to transition into aesthetic medicine as the Medical Director of SCG, bringing with me a deep commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate, personalized care.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1991, and received my Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1996. I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest University in North Carolina in 1999. My family and I moved to the Carlisle area in 2000, and it has been home ever since.

Outside of work, I’m a member of First Presbyterian Church, Carlisle and a proud parent of three adult children. Our home is shared with an ever-changing assortment of animals, and I enjoy gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I feel truly honored to continue serving this wonderful community in a new way and look forward to supporting each client’s journey to looking and feeling their best.

Cheryl was raised in Perry County, graduating from West Perry High School. She furthered her education at Susquehanna University, majoring in Sociology and Minoring in Psychology.

When Cheryl’s youngest of 4 children started school, she decided to look for a part-time job to help women feel better. A friend had introduced her to the Obagi skincare line. She was amazed what a difference it had made in her skin and she wanted to share it with others.

She started SCG Spa as SCG Skin Rejuvenation in 2011 at 5th Avenue Salon. Over the years, the number of services offered has grown and staff has multiplied. SCG Spa now occupies a much larger space to accommodate the demand for services. Cheryl believes her team of employees are her family. Her goal is to provide quality treatments while educating SCG Spa’s clients.

Cheryl enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, her children, and other family members. She also enjoys helping others through volunteer work and has been volunteering since high school for organizations such as: American Cancer Society, Perry Human Services, ARC, YMCA, Carlisle School District, local churches, and Furry Friends. She believes that if everyone would do one nice thing for someone every day, the world would be a better place.

Carsten is a graduate of Millersville University, where she received her BA in Art and her Masters in Social Work. After working as a therapist for a few years, Carsten switched career paths to help others in a different way, joining the SCG team in 2018.

She utilizes her artistic background for a variety of different services & marketing materials. Carsten received her Powder Brow certification in 2021, followed by her Lip Blushing Certification in 2022.

She became a member of the American Association of Micropigmentation in 2024 and pursued her Lash Line Enhancement certification in 2025.

Carsten is also a Certified Laser Technician (2023) and was trained by Cartessa Aesthetics to operate our current Laser, the MotusAX later that year. To better serve all clients, Carsten sought additional knowledge about treating skin of color. She completed her training and became a Skinclusive™ Certified service provider in 2024.

In her free time, Carsten enjoys crafting, being outside, and spending time with her husband & daughter.

She also attended additional continuing education in sclerotherapy for the treatment of spider veins, injection techniques for botulism toxin, filler and EZGel, as well as PDO thread insertion.

Monica joined SCG in January of 2022 and is dedicated to continuing education. She has a passion for her work and is committed to providing holistic and compassionate care. Her specialties are Electrolysis, Sclerotherapy, Vivace (Microneedling), PDO Threads, Injectables (EZGel, botulism toxin, Filler), and Lipo Cavitation. Monica is the mother of two daughters and a first time grandmother. Traveling with her husband of 38 years is a passion that she enjoys. Working for SCG is a privilege that Monica finds rejuvenating. Making others feel more confident is an absolute pleasure.

She is excited to expand her medical and spa offerings at SCG and use her knowledge and continuing education to better serve her clients. Some of Courtney’s favorite services to offer are massage, lash lift and tint, dermaplane, and waxing.

Outside of the spa, she enjoys gardening, thrift shopping, live music, cooking and baking, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Her continuing education includes Spa Reflexology, Forearm Fusion, Myofascial with concentrations in Headache, Neck Pain, and Low Back Pain.  Donna joined SCG Spa in April of 2022.

Ines Ferguson has been an innovative pioneer in the Permanent Makeup Industry since 1997. She began her tenure training and working with the #1 Permanent Makeup provider (Permanent-Line) in Germany and northern Europe for more then 8 Years.  After meeting her husband, Ines finally settled in the USA.

In 2007, she partnered with several of the most respected Plastic Surgeons and Salon/Day Spa professionals throughout Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia Metro area.

Ines has mastered techniques in eyebrow shaping, eyeliner techniques, lip applications, as well as reconstructive camouflage techniques by way of Continuing Education Programs organized by AAM (American Academy of Micropigmentation) or CPCP (Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professionals).

Her expertise, experience and unparalleled work ethics has pushed her work to the top in the permanent make-up industry. “Being a part of a progressive and deeply concentrated health and wellness oriented spa has been a perfect match for my work since I joined SCG in 2016. A combination of services that will be what every mind, soul and body has been craving for. Can’t wait to meet you and let the sky be the limit.”

She rejoined our SCG team August 2021 and is currently the Spa Manager. Her goals are to provide excellent customer service, not only to guests but the entire team working with her.

Danielle’s focus is always to make sure guests receive the best experience possible. Leading by example, Danielle coaches her team to understand their client’s needs in order to give them the best service possible. One thing that has always allowed her to be a true leader with every team she has worked with is that she too is a guest and always puts herself in your shoes to fully understand what you need, want and expect. Her reputation within not just the industry, but the community, is one of high standards, respect and loyalty in everything she does. Combined with her creative approach on making the Spa’s operations run smoothly and efficiently, she strives to empower the entire team to exceed expectations.
